VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) at Cinema
Paradiso will be celebrating its 26th anniversary this year and we would like you to be part of the fun and excitement. 
 
FLIFF has been expanding its schedule during regular daily operations.  Not only have we been adding more movies, we have increased the number of events that are related to the films that are being presented to our membership and the general public. 
 
This increase in events and special features, many of which are free to members only, or members and the public, requires sufficient volunteers on hand to handle ticket processing, Will Call table, ushering, bartending, food services and some occasional light duty office tasks.
 
With quite a few events ongoing, FLIFF is going to need volunteers all year  and, for this reason, many volunteer opportunities are available. Volunteers enjoy terrific benefits, including participation in our fun- filled activities, meeting celebrities and seeing outstanding films.  You can also expect to work short shifts (usually not more than four hours).  Count on getting a behind- the-scenes view of  festivals and movie business in general.  You will meet many new people in and out of the film business and, most of all, you will be in a work environment that is both exhilarating and entertaining
 
Some of the upcoming activities include: Our Eggtacular, Cinco de Mayo,
Kentucky Derby Event, Spanish mini- festival, Italian mini-festival and a fabulous French mini-festival.  On April 2, we will be presenting Ernest Borgnine and Doris Roberts, in person, who will introduce their new film, œAnother Harvest Moon.   Enjoy great events, movies and fun.  Sign up today.   You will be glad you did.
