High School Film Competition Submission Rules and Regulations

Films made by High School students from any country

DATES
High School Earlybird Deadline: July 1, 2010
High School Regular Deadline: September 1, 2010 (film listed in program if rcvd by this date)
High School Late Deadline: September 15, 2010
High School Extended Deadline: September 30, 2010

Festival Dates: October 23 - November 15, 2010

ENTRY SUBMISSION (Materials will not be returned)

All entries must be submitted with the following:
DVD (no PAL)
Completed entry form
U.S. $ Appropriate fee in U.S. currency (non-refundable)
Make sure DVD is not scratched and mail correctly to avoid damage to it.

ENTRY FEE (fee must accompany entry and is non-refundable)
$15 for entries submitted on or before July 1st, 2010
$15 for entries submitted on or before September 1st, 2010
$20 ($15 for Upgraded Projects) for entries submitted on or before September 15th, 2010
$30 ($15 for Upgraded Projects) for entries submitted on or before September 30th, 2010


Films must be in English or original language with English Subtitles

ACCEPTED SUBMISSIONS
We do not send out rejection letters, therefore to find out the status of your film, please email info@fliff.com with subject line: STATUS OF FILM, and state film's TITLE and CATEGORY.

AWARDS
1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, and Honorable Mentions are awarded.

The 25TH Annual Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) takes you on a vacation from ordinary film October 22 - November 11, 2010, as the fest reels out over 100 entertaining new features, documentaries, and shorts from around the globe. Filmmakers and celebrities create an aura of excitement around the cinematic event as they walk the red carpet at Hollywood style premieres, chat with audiences at screenings and attend parties and gatherings, along with free seminars, outdoor screenings, and films for kids.
